Good question, Zack. I don't think that we are all related to Noah, because he wasn't the only survivor of the flood, but we are all related from even before Noah. Not only are we fighting our brothers in Iraq, but everywhere else in the world. It's no accident that we don't recognize an Earth family, because many people profit from our divisiveness, and from our perception of separateness. Just look at some of the answers here, people have been taught fear, and to view the other guy as a threat. This makes it easy for the warlords and their corporate sponsors to sell us on war after war after war. As long as we stay afraid of the threat from the other side of the fence (be it "terrorism", drugs, nukes, "rougue nations", AIDS or global warming), we will never live as brothers. Divide and conquer, right? It works every time.

We are all definitely related in some way, but we're more like very distant cousins to the Iraqis, Afghanis, etc. Whether or not you believe in the literal line of descent described in the Bible, every single human is descended from the first two humans. I don't think this makes what we're doing in Iraq any worse, though because we are (most likely) so distantly related to people that far away, that our family relationship is meaningless.

Of course we are all related. I don't know about Noah... but no matter how you look at it our predecessors entertwine into a massive historical spiderweb. Do you think that there were a billion people on this earth 1 or 2 thousand years ago? no. think of this please... it takes 2 people to make 1 person. you have parents, your parents have parents and their parents have parents and so on. by the time we go back say.. 5 generations that is already 62 people in your family tree not including you. for every generation that number doubles. after 10 generations your family tree alone has almost 2000 people in it. the farther back we go in time, the lower the population also. its all in the math, whether you believe in creationism or evolution. i bet each of us would be surprised how many ancestors we share.

No, dear, according to the most common scientific theories, we're all related to an original ancestor who lived in Africa.
We are not all related to Adam and Eve and to their descendent, Noah. That is what the Bible says, but the Bible is a myth. We know for sure that it's a myth because of the fossil record and millions of other human observations of the world around us.
God gave us reason and powers of observation. He expects us to use them.
Spiritually, we are all brothers and sisters, and therefore we are killing our bretheren in Iraq.
Scientifically, we are all probably related as well.

If you are Christian and believe in God and the Bible, then the answer is yes.. cause no body survived the Global flood in the old Testament but Noah and his family.
Are we fighting our bothers in Iraq? well the answer will be we are even getting married to our sisters if you look to it that way.

no. Noahs Ark is not a real story. it's an exaguration to show what God can do... if anything, we are all related to Adam and Eve, but that isn't likely either. but, yes, we are fighting our brothers in Iraq.

Yes, its true we are all related somehow, but we aren't "fighting" our brothers in Iraq we are protecting our brothers in Iraq from our other brothers who happen to be unwilling to live in a democracy (but who were quite willing to intimidate their brothers).

We are all related to one female from Africa whose genetic markers are carried by all humans on Earth. Fortunately there were others around to share their DNA with her so we all didn't end up riding the short yellow bus to school. Noah is a made up story.

I have no clue if we're related to Noah....or if he ever truly existed. That's one of the things about faith, you have to be willing to believe something in the absence of fact.
It *is* true, however, that humanity in all its current forms does descend from a common set of ancestors (from about 70,000 to 75,000 years ago at current estimate) and that as such we are indeed all related - at a pretty long distance.
But to go with your biblical theme, keep one thing in mind: before Noah, Cain killed Abel.
...if you believe that stuff.
