1 Corinthians 13:1-8 says,

1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

I'd say that pretty well covers it!

Love has no reason. Love is sacrifice. It is a thread holding two together through honesty, truth, patience, kindness, trust, hope, perseverence to protect and never fail the two eternally.....
Love is absolute loyalty and being loved for yourself, or better yet, in spite of yourself. To have and believe in love, is to enjoy your beloved's happiness and ascends to that want over all else forever........

Giving to the poor, helpless, and broken, and being able to look into the children's eyes and see the innocence and purity of their hearts.

Nothing will cause you to feel a greater joy than to see those poor, desperate children living in utter poverty dance around with an angelic prescence hovering about their face.
Nothing will cause you to cause you to feel a greater love than seeing one of them run up, give you a hug, and smile up at you with wide a toothless smiles spread across their soiled faces. Nothing will give you a greater fulfillment of joy and purpose than to see that pure, heavenly joy and love in those children, and to know that you are the one who has heralded it in through your love.

That is love. That is peace.

Truth and honesty. It has to be real. The perfect places that we aren't. There is where what we don't have is. Only little bits, like the innocence.
