There are several stages of sleep. When you are in a specific stage, dreaming occurs. Dreaming is good for your brain. Technically speaking, dreaming is like your brain's way of "cleaning house". Anything that is suppressed in you sub-conscious will express itself in dreams. Sometimes this happens because there are issues in your life you aren't addressing, other times it's just because there are things on your mind.

If you are having nightmares (not just dreams), you may want to see a counselor or your doctor. They should be able to help.

As long as you don't feel stressed or upset after waking up. Remembering dreams constantly won't your health.

Your brain activities are probably doing things that normal people don't do. You are active in day as well as nights. If you don't have bad dreams, I will just leave it. If you remember the dreams and bother you, you may want to post it and figure what exactly the problems caused you dreaming so much.

You can't dream too much. Everyone dreams many times each night. This has been proven by scientists observing people sleep.
Their eyes move rapidly, many times each night. . When woken up during this state of sleep people report they were dreaming. Most people don't remember their dreams. You apparently do.
There is no reason to be concerned about it, unless your sleep is drug induced.

Dreaming is essential. People allowed to sleep but woken up every time they start to dream, start to have real mental problems and hallucinations, whereas people awoken the same amount of time when they are not dreaming experience no problems.

So enjoy your dreams. Undoubtedly they are fascinating.

There's no such thing as too much dreaming. It's normal to dream if you get far enough into the sleep cycle. Some people just don't often remember their dreams. You happen to be different, you usually remember them. People that say they never dream are wrong, they just forget their dreams. You're fine, don't worry. It's a good thing for your brain and your health, it means you're resting well.

Why would you want to avoid it? Dreaming is so awsome... unless they are mostly nightmares, I would appreciate your dreams, as I wish I'd dream more.

You have a very active mind. Embrace it instead of avoiding it.
