Mel doesnt need to ask any forgiveness i think. Isnt it not true that that freedom of expression is allowed in the country? We can voice our opinion in public if we think it is right and isnt Mel just doing the same thing. If those arent happy with what he say can voice their opinion too.. Besides.. why would the world be so angry towards a drunk man for? Ive seen drunk ppl mooning on the street and peeing on someone's car and do other crazy things and why cant ppl think the same of Mel? What more.. he even apologized and he had done enough to my opinion.

Luckily Mel wasnt a Muslim i think.. cos if he is, then worst thing could happen to him lol.. Honestly, i do pity Mel.. cos the media is just playing this racist card on him cos this type of news sell.. And why? its cos of the ppl like us who pay much attention on it. Such news sells big time especially with whats going on in the middle east and Mel is just another victim of the media.

I bet if there's no hot news in the media about the jews at the moment.. such news wouldnt have be so big at the first place.. For those smart ppl out there, they know that it is somewhat stupid to take a drunk man's word seriously and cause him much trouble.. leave him be

Most Jews haven't liked him for years, his father is a Holocaust denier and Mel Gibson believes the Jews killed Jesus.

Imagine a celebrity called black people the n word, whose father believes that slavery never happened. That's what this is like for Jews.

Judaism demands one to forgive when asked. Mel will have to ask forgiveness from each and every Jew he offended in order to receive their forgiveness. I cannot forgive Mel for offending any other Jew -- I can speak only for myself.

As a Christian, Mel can ask forgiveness from a priest and will be "home free." When Mel faces the Jewish God of justice, he will receive a "proportionate" justice -- whatever that might be.

Neither forgiveness nor sinning "in one's heart" will cut it in Judaism. No action = no result!

Shalom

Who hasn't gotten drunk and said something stupid at some point in their life should cast the first stone. I think Mel was a bit stressed and did something stupid. No one else ever has, right? The Jews should know something about stress and messing up once in awhile. Give the man a pass. He apologized for his stupidity so accept it.

this is democracy, freedom, why do ask this question if there is no oppression,Mel Gibson i guess is from SCOTLAND OR Dublin not from Germany, why you do not ask this question to Israel if Lebanon people are going to forgive them? why you are afraid of Jews, are going to be murder or you are going to be put at black list? i give Mel Gibson AN ADVICE ,go home man, your home more beautiful, your people are great.

Here's an idea. Why not have a Mohel perform a public bris (circumcision) on Mel with a dull butter knife and without an anesthetic?

He has done all that is required of him , he asked that they forgive him and in God's Word they are supposed to forgive him . Colossians 3:12-13 . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved . John 14:6

No. I think he's offended them beyond repair. Remember, he works in an industry (entertainment) that includes many Jews. He works with Jews daily and for them to hear such things from him, is really a kick in the stomach. Also, he greatly offended women in what he said. He really screwed himself. He's an alcoholic, anti-Semite and sexist pig, who will be lucky to get an acting job modeling shoes after this.
