trying taking the shot and chasing it with something less acidic. I can't do lime juice lemon juice sweet n sour or o.j. without getting sick after 2 or 3. Drink it straight or chase it with white grape juice (i swear it's good!) Good luck getting past that #3

In general, shots are for amateurs. And drinking rum as a shot with a cranberry juice chaser sounds really silly.
Real drinkers don't drink shots. They find a liquor they like and drink it. For example, I like my scotch neat, but I don't do shots of it (how could I enjoy the taste?).
I think of myself as a professional drunk. I can get a buzz quite easily without the need for shots, beer bongs or other silly tools.

Do bacardi limon lemon drop shots they are killer and if you drink them w/ coronas it is a nice mix
