You need to get in to your doctor for an evaluation. Without more information, it is impossible to say "yes" or "no" to your question.
Anyone who does, is just flying by the seat of their pants and hasn't a clue.
There are many things that can cause the symptoms you're describing besides the big "C". So do yourself a favor...get in to see your doctor and quit guessing on what this could be.

A bad cough... and a few moles. Those would be two unrelated cancer. Skin cancer - Melanoma would be the moles that do not look right and you should talk to your doctor about that. The bad cough and weight loss could indicate lung cancer, but a simple chest X-Ray should tell you if there is a mass in the lung. Some times dark spots on XRays may be the side effect of fluid congestion in the sack around the lung from something like pneumonia. Either way, it is not ER worthy, but definately a Doctor's visit or a clinic visit.

Maybe, but you have described something that sounds more acute than chronic in nature. Consider that you may have pneumonia. You can easily lose weight with sickness of any kind.
Do you smoke? How old are you? If you are young (under 45), cancer is not common. As for the moles...they could be skin cancer. Are they larger than 1 cm across? You should have them checked if the borders are uneven, bleed, are black or purple or if they have suddenly appeared.
The moles and the cough do not necessarily go together.
Either way, you need to see your physician. It is worth a checkup. Be optimistic..and don't worry too much at the moment. Knowledge is very important...so go to the doc.
Any cough for more than a couple of weeks...is worth getting checked on. Treatment for the cough alone could make you feel much better.
Good luck and good health.

I know you have heard this several times, Go to a Doctor.
However I am answering to say, it could be many other things then cancer and all the symptoms might not go together.
I am also answering to say : Best of luck and Take Care! You are in my thoughts. :)
---Check out the website http://www.plwc.org There is a lot of information about cancer and symptoms on there. Again though, go to the Doctor and don't work yourself, up it is probably nothing.

Are you experiencing and other symtoms? I know several people who have had the very bad cough thing lately..and it was a sinus infection... have you noticed a change in your breath? bad odor...??? you may want to have it checked out... as far as the moles... not sure what to tell you... have them looked at..but I dont think that would cause the coughing... you sound worried.. seek medical attention to put your mind at ease.
