Archie Moore

He was the oldest boxer to win the world's Light Heavyweight crown, and is believed to be the only boxer to have boxed professionally in the eras of Joe Louis, Marciano and Clay/Muhammad Ali. He was one of a handful of boxers whose careers spanned four decades, and he had a final record of 186 wins, 24 losses, 9 draws and 1 no contest, with 145 official knockout wins.

Moore is the only man to have faced both Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali

3 great fighters and very worthy of consideration as each left quite a mark! In my opinion, Archie Moore was the best with an overall record of 194-26-8 145 KO's! I pick Archie because he was the champion for a longer period of time from pretty much 1952-62. Of course Archie also gave Rocky Marciano quite a batte for the Heavyweight crown in 55.

Very simple. Harry Greb. The "Human Windmill"...beat Tunney at light heavyweight. Archie Moore is probably second.

I know I'm probably gonna get alot of **** for this but not including his last 4 fights where he won 1 outta 4 I would say Roy Jones Jr I mean what he did early on in his career was sick!! He beat Hopkins in 93' for the vacant IBF Middleweight title and than went on in 94' and beat James Toney for the IBF Super Middleweight title beat John Ruiz for the WBA Heavyweight title in 2003 and along the way won the WBA,WBC,WBF,IBA,IBO,IBF,and NBA Light heavyweight Titles that's just about every title in the light heavyweight division.
