,i know he likes me ,it has been a year since this guy has been showing interest although never had asked me out ,probably was doubtful bout me being single,finally the other day we realised it wasnt that hard to break the ice,when he approached me and we had a small conversatin bout his recent job.,he left v casually ,as if we cud remain jas friends.he made no move though.is this serious ego problem.

Maybe is is still unsure of how you feel. Why not be a little more direct with him and tell him the next time that you are interested in him and that you should go out on a date. Then give him two choices as to the day and time. Trust me, he will take the offer.

WERE in the world are you getting ego from. He just might be shy or he is waiting for you to show a sign that you are single or at least interested in him.

If he is serious about you and wants you he will do something about it. If he is scared or too shy and will let another year go by without doing anything, he isn't worth having. That show a lot about the guy.

maybe he's shy.
maybe he thinks you are a party girl. (not good g/f material)
i know my brother doesn't like 'high maintainance' women. sorry to say it , but your avatar looks kind of high maintainance ( - but very pretty i might add, thank you)
maybe he wants to get to know you better before he asks you out. some guys want to find out while dating if she is 'right'. some guys want to know if you are 'right' to date.
he could be checking you out from afar to 'see' how long you date someone. to see if you go thru men like water or if you are more of a 'one girl - one guy' kind of person.
