I've heard a few families say they eat peanut butter and mayo. If it isn't a sandwich, then list a crazy concoction they eat other than a "strange" sandwich. We're looking to experiment...within reason, of course.

My husband had got me eating "Prison Food". It sounds strange but pretty good:
Cook 1lb box of elbow macaroni, drain
Melt a large block of Velveta Cheese into the macaroni
Brown about 1 lb of spicy sausage -- mix that in
Mix in a can of refried beans
Dump in a bag of Fritos
Mix everything well and enjoy -- I know there's a lot weirder things out there -- but this was strange to me.

CHEESY MEATLOAF SANDWICHES
8 slices rye bread
8 thin slices cooked meatloaf
4 slices (rectangular) Muenster cheese, halved
Chili sauce
Spread chili sauce on bread. On four slices place meatloaf and cheese. Top with remaining bread. Wrap each sandwich in paper napkin. Arrange on glass oven tray. Heat 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes on power level 7 until heated through. Makes 4 servings.

Fried baloney sandwiches w/ketchup!! I still haven't been able to get my kids to eat them although I had to eat them when I was their age.

my mom and dad eat this one wheat bread toasted with peanut butter lettuce and tomato uck to me but they like it
