Well, everyone else is saying the match, sooooo, I'll say save the match, just in case, use some twigs to make a fire use a bit of the burning branch to light the stove wood, then the oil lamp, then the fire, then if they need the match for later on when the polar bear comes too close to them, they could light the match and the fire would scare the polar bear away. :)
