What is more a common power distribution voltage throughout the world and us? Kilo-voltages at and below 7.2/12.47-7.9/13.8 range or above that kilo-voltage range such as 12/21 or 14.4/24.9?

Our municipal utility distributes at 4.16 kV and 12.47 kV. I'll tell you - I hope we can someday get converted to all 12.47 kV. Lots of advantages to the higher voltage including less line loss.

Distribution voltages ranged from 24K - 120K depending on the distance of transmission. Common US residential voltage is 120?240 single phase. US commercial is generally 480V/277/120VAC, single or three phase. Many overseas residential voltage are 220 single phase. Am not familiar with their commercial service.

you can always see the label in the back of the batery, or see that most electronic eq is run in 110v/220v/240v
