A woman can choose to abort a child even if the man want to have the baby.

A woman can choose to have a child even if the man does not want to have the baby.

The man has no choice in the birth of his own child. Does that seem right to you?

no it doesn't and it's not right! But if you really think about it there is no real solution to this problem. Until we start lisencing people to have sex there is no way to comtrol this. it is just one of those problems that will never go away.
IN RESPONCE TO ABOVE:
And no it isn't her body, it is the body that they created together, they SHOULD have equal say in what happens to it. If you want to use the "it's her body she can do what she wants" then when all these women decide to have babies with out partners consent they are all on their own to: cause it was HER decsion!

Never thought of it that way. Of course, I have never got anyone pregnant so the issue has never come up for me. But I agree. I think that the father should have some say, at least to talk it over with the woman. But I think that if a woman is even thinking about having an abortion, it's probably because the father, whoever he may be, is nowhere to be found!!!

Yes, it seems fair. The man is not going to have to go through the pains and labor of giving birth. The man does not own a uterus and matching paraphinalia so of course he has no say in whether or not a woman should get an abortion.

If the man is desperate for kids, have him adopt or find and MARRY a woman who has the same reproducing goals that he has.

Men should have a choice but forcing a woman to do something she does not want to do would be a serious breach of her human rights. Also the potential damage to a woman physically and mentally when making desicions about children is generally alot more serious than the damage to a man. Unfortunately it's a no win situation for guys. I guess the lesson to be learned is..... do not have unprotected sex if you have not planned to have a family and it is what both of you want. Accidents do happen, but thats what emergency contraception is for!

Hmm, lets's see. It's the woman, not the man, that will go through labor, or through an abortion. It's the woman's body that will suffer, so I say they should have moresa than the man. Of course, I think most people will agree on the subject.

The man has no choice because it's not his body he is not the one that is going to carry the child or give birth to it. If he doesn't want a baby then he should use protection or stop having sex.

Nope doesn't seem right. Seems selfish. The man doesn't get a chance at raising a life. And the baby doesn't get it's chance at life. It's also the baby's body but nobody seems to care about that. If you don't want a baby don't have sex. If you're having sex, accept the consequences. So sad.

Life isn't FAIR. I strongly oppose abortion unless 1. The woman got pregnant as a result of rape 2. The pregnant woman is a drug addict. If men and women don't want to take responsibility for their actions THEY SHOULD USE A COMBINATION OF CONTRACEPTIVES EVERY TIME!
