my dog was the same then 1 of my friends told me when people come over or something tell them to ignore ur dog, he/she might bark but when u ignore her it makes him/her go 2 the people causing her to calm down(make sure shes on a leashe that u can hold incase). it might b something else 2 dogs r territorial and they knows who the good people r that u can trust and the people u cant so u might want to listen 2 her/him but try the ignoring thing first and if there r those people she still wont go around that means ur dog thinks that person is dangerous
Good Luck

If he can't act responsibly crate him when company comes over. You can work with them over and over and they will eventually get it. Be sure when he is acting like a fool the other people ignore him. If you are out walking keep a meaty treat in your pocket that you can tear little pieces off for him when he focuses on you and not the other people.

Hold down gently but firmly on your dog when there are people around. Teach him or her to "sit" and "stay", and use this technique when people are around. Teach your dog to be "people friendly"...he/she will be friendly around people, but will not be overly wild. You should enroll in local doggy classes..there should be some available at your local community center or veterinarian

You need to take him/her outta the room until it calms down and then put them back in the room with the people. it takes forever because you need to repeat it but it soon makes the point.

Usually dogs behave much like their owners. Try petting him slowly, and don't yell at him when trying to repremand him. Spend some time w/ him in your backyard teach him to listen to commands, and reward him w/ a treat when he listens. It really doesn't take long for them to learn.

my neighbours dog jumps around, when im there, the best solution is to give it something to keep it occupied, a nice rubber bone or a rubber ball, so its mouth is full keeps it contented, try it it works
