NO. But you should be showing as much concern for him and his family as possible. This is a very hard time for all of the poeple involved in this mess and it is a very sad thing to see taking place.

Its not selfish at all...I would think you would be a very nice distraction for him. Just try to be there for him, I'm sure he is worried and may say something that is out of character...so just be patient.

Give him plenty of attention. Try hard to not get angry if he is pre-occupied. Just concentrate on what you can do to help him , and he will probably be appreciative when he has more time to think about how you took care of him.

No just because he is having problems does not mean he has the right to neglect you.. I mean i am sure you feel sorry for what's going on in his life but your life is not gonna stop because of it so he still needs to show you affection

i look at as been self considered. Look, he's going through a hard time maybe you should be givin him the attention . comfort him now and he'll give you some attention when his mind has cleared a little

I am certain that his mind is else where at the moment which I see that you realize. Just be there for him and he will give you all and more of the attention that you yearn for later

Be supportive and attentive, don't hassle him and he will be very appreciative when things get back to normal(whatever that is)
