Nope. George Foreman by far is the best Knock out artist that I've ever seen. Obviously because we are all different ages, and, some of us have opted not to watch PPV events these answers are going to be all over the board. I know people who have never saw Tyson fought when he was the spectacular Bum Terminator. As impressive as he was, there were several other boxers during the same time who were equally impressive, if not more so. Ever hear of Terry Norris, Julian Jackson, or, the Greatest Jr Welterweight ever, THE HAWK, aka, Aaron Pryor who boasts a 39-1 record, with 35 legitimate KO's. He was a devastating boxer in the 80's. Anyway, I think Foreman is the best KO king that I've ever seen, next would be Pryor, then Tyson. As far as boxers on DVD, VHS, ESPN Classic etc, It's Joe Louis, Hands down----but since you asked about fighters that I've seen, again, it's Foreman. For the record, Tyson, eventhough he decisively beat all of his earlier opponents and is clearly the most recent KO kid he's not the best ever, just most recent to win in the fashion in which he did. He wasn't the first nor will he be the last. They'll be others, trust me, I've seen a few.

I think Mike Tyson could be one of the most feared boxers of all times. At his peak, he was more than a monster! His punches were amazing and so powerful. Its hard to say who is the best KnockOut puncher of all times. All i can say is that Mike Tyson was a person that's fell and hit Rock-Bottom, due to lack of guidance.

No, Tyson definitely benefited from weak competition. It's easy for higher level boxers to knock out chumps.

Ring magazine says Joe Louis is #1 and Tyson is 16th.

Check his level of opposition. He's fought more bums than any other great heavyweights. That's the reason why he's had so many knockout wins in his career. He couldn't beat great fighters though and he' s the one that gets knocked out(Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield etc).

No, that would have to be Julian Jackson. Some of his best knockouts were Herol Graham, Ismael Negron, Buster Drayton and Dennis Milton.

Yep he knocked out a person in 30 seconds and he didn't get up. I have respect for that.

To add to the impressive lists already given, I would submit Gerald McClellan and Tony Ayala Jr.. Both were brutal, they dominated whoever they fought. I would add a caveat for McClellan and add Nigel Benn who ended his career in a truly brutal fight.
