My boyfriend of one year revealed to me that he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend, and that he never really forgot her. And that he could never love someone like he did her.

It's not cheating, he hasn't done anything with her. However, it doesn't leave much left for you. If he's not over her what is he doing with you? Why should you wait around and hope that one day he will love you and move on from her. Tell him to call you if he ever gets over her and is ready for another relationship that you can give your all to. Make sure and point out maybe you will be available maybe you won't, you will be looking for that one person who can love you like you deserve to be loved without walking in someone else's shadow.

So, why are you still with him? If he will never feel that way for you then there is no point! He can't help the way he feels, but you don't have to play second string. Build up some confidence and find someone that will be open to falling in love with you. Because, staying with him is going to hurt worse if he gets a second chance with the ex and you get dumped. Leave now with some dignity entact!

No that is not cheating. I'm sorry to say this girl, but you need to leave him. You can find better out there that will love you for you and not come up with some "BS" about an ex-girlfriend and how much he still loves her. Then he shouldn't be dating!!!!!!!

it's not cheating but it is a relationship worth getting out of. I was that guy before. Now i'm married. once he finds someone that he truely loves again he will forget about his ex. So obviously he does not love u. sorry to break it to u but it's the truth.

No it is not cheating but it is wasting your time, because he has now made it clear to you that he is not putting his all into your relationship, it is any reason for you to stay, because in actuality he just let you know that you are a rebound relationship possibly, and on top of that a failed rebound, you should leave him alone.

it is not cheating, but if your feelings for him run far deeper than his could ever run for you DROP HIM. Or at least let him go and tell him.
If she had died you'd have to battle her ghost, but she is out there and there is no way you could compete-So tell him you are letting him go. Tell him you care too much to play second fiddle
Do it and you'll gain the respect you deserve..He may even see you in a different light

Sounds like emotional cheating. Tell him if you two will be together than he will get over his previous love and give you all that attention or it is over. Simple as that.

dump him. not for cheating but he is not going to be there for you. His heart is elsewhere and he's not ready to put his past behind him. He may never be able to put his past behind him.
