Because we are talking about girls and not women..........
Girls just like boys are not in love, they are in lust. They just think they are in love, they aren't old enough or mature enough to know the difference.
And just like boys.......there has to be that initial spark when you like someone.
Most of the time the first thing someone sees is the others looks, and if they are not attracted to your looks then they are not attracted to you.
And you need to realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Meaning what I think is good looking isn't what another female would consider good looking. Someone I think is ugly, another female may think he is hot. It just depends on the person.
As you get older you learn to go beyond someones looks when you first meet them. You learn to look deeper inside someone and not just go out with them for looks but for personality also.

On a generic level, only a certain group of girls will seek out a "good looking guy". That leaves an over 50% of the other girls that don't care about looks as a fall in love sorta person.
So, you have to wonder, why are you caring about the girls that fall for a "good looking guy" and ignoring the other girls. Also, its this a question worded in a general way when you mean a specific person? In addition, when you say "a good looking guy" are you talking in general, because it sounds like a specific person again.
Don't sweat the narrow vision, the world is out there. Don't get stuck on such a narrow "view" of things. There are so many people and choices that you could try...

It's the same reason guys fall for the hot chicks first. Looks are the first thing that's seen. It takes awhile to find the other stuff, good and bad. Is it fair? Probably not, but nobody said life would be fair.

Their not in love, their in lust. It goes both ways. How often do you hear a guy talk about how hot some girl is without caring what she has to say? Girls are just less honest with themselves. They tell themselves its love when in fact they haven't done anything but lust after the hot guy and haven't heard a word he's said.

Hu? I don't get it. Please expand your question. Most people like someone that is attractive. Many times something that is pleasant to the eye and even to the touch in not all that pleasant otherwise.
I like a great looking woman and I have had many but my best kind of GF's are the average looking ones.

not at all the girls only care about looks and more often than not the guys with okay looks will treat you right because all the ones you think are drop dead gorgeous alot of other girls may say the same!

Because good looking guy is presentable to everyone..you can brought him anywhere ..you not ashame if hes with you but if hes ugly u arent be so proud esp. if you will introduce him to your friend..it is rampant to ages 15-25 but when a woman reach 26 physical doesn't matter at all what matters is attitude ..it isn't unfair..

no I kno it's not fair but some of us don't do that! Like me I don't. I like 2 be fair and see what their personality is...if she's going out w/ some1 she shouldn't do that but a little crush doesn't hurt either!

becoz they are physically attracted towards them & in first crush looks do matter.
