The best thing to do would be to take the bird to the vet to trim it's beak. Do not try to do this yourself. It's very dangerous and you could split the bird's beak and it would not be able to crack seed. I do my cockatiel's with an emory board...but again.....if you aren't careful you could hurt the bird even with that. In addition to a cuttle bone, you should h ave a cup full of grit in the cage. Grit helps with the bird's digestion as well as helping to keep the beak trim.

It could be something hormonal or some other internal imbalance that causes this. Take the bird to a vet and have them check out the bird to find the root cause of the problem. Also, don't try trimming the bird's beak yourself, leave that to a professional to avoid injuring the bird or yourself.

they happened to mine too, and it was so long that it was cutting into it's chest. what we did was we got some nail clippers and held my bird on it's back(they are more calm and comfortablelike that) and trimmed it's beek. we have to trim it almost once a month. my bird uses it's cuddle bone but it's beek just grows too fast.

Take her to a certified avian veterinarian, to have her beak trimmed.
Its caused by a nutritional definency.
Too much seeds and salt in the diet.
Seeds have extremely little nutritional value and cause they body to extract nutrients from itself, and all the salt and calories in the seed builds up in a birds, beak, and nails.
offer fresh fruits and vegetables such as broccoli, mustard greens, peaches, apples, bannanas, and cooked sweet potatoes.
To make the greens more appetizing role them up and put some crushed cracker bits in it, budgies like the crunch

First take her to the vet. Then try one of those perches that birds can trim beak and nales on. My bird won't use a cuttle bone, but she loves her textured perch and is constantly trimming her beak on it.

As someone else mentioned, it is likely a nutritional deficit or possibly liver disease. Take the bird to the vet.
