I think your problem is you think other people are laughing at you. They may be or they may not be. My answer is to ignore them. People who laugh AT you are not worthy of your mental energy. I also suspect you have a chip on your shoulder. This is the mark of a young person. You do not state your age, but I suspect you are a teenage male. I was a teenage male and had very much the same feelings. I grew out of it and now I don't care what anybody thinks about me, save for my parents and the man who signs my paycheck.

Perhaps you need to quit being so self centered. People laugh at many things and a person who is so self conscious that they think they are the subject of the humor needs to look inside themselves.

Mipango,
I think you need consult with some psychologist or other specialist. Sounds like you are very shy person. This is very good, but when it's overdose it's can be cause of stress or some mental disorder. Please find a good specialist who can help you.

It could be depression, but you sound like a very self-concious person. Do you have many friends in your class?
