I've been doing martial arts all my life and I love it I've done some Judo, Jujitsu, Karate, but I've always done and currently practice and teach Tae Kwon do (3rd degree black belt) Hapkido (2nd degree black belt) and Haidong Gumdo (2nd degree bb)
it's great, and it's not just boys that do that I do and I'm not one.
everyone can and should if they like it at all.

I took karate for a while when I was younger. However, for over two years I have been taking Nihon Goshin Aikido from a teacher with over twenty years of experience. It is a hard style of aikido that was derived from aiki-jiu-jitsu, and incorporates jiu-jitsu, judo, and karate as important aspects of the system. It focuses on real life self-defense situations where anything goes. Pressure points, modern weapon offense and defense (knife, club, gun), and traditional nunchaku techniques are also incorporated. In the class we have also dabbled in the martial aspects of tai chi', that was eye opening. A good teacher makes all the difference.

I do Muay Thai, I'm a semi pro Muay Thai fighter with record of 3-2.

I use to wrestle in high school as well, did some brazilian ju jitsu and judo too.

Will start boxing to improve my Muay Thai game next month.

absolutely. over the years i've been involved inTKD, as well as shaolin and a bit of goju ryu. they're all great,--my personal favorite is shaolin. btw i found it very interesting to check out buddhism, taoism, and shinto, which are associated with the arts. and i found that being involved in various "energy practices" like reiki, tai chi. chi kung and jin shin jyutsu, and meditation, are very helpful for making your martial arts even better then they would be without them. cheers!

I'm a shodan in Isshinryu karate and a rokkyu in Kodokan Judo. I've also dabbled in other arts, but mostly learning from books, which don't really count.

I am into wrestling, and am learning Juijitsu. Anyone who thinks ground skills aren't necessary to have in martial arts, practice sparring w/ someone skilled in Juijitsu.
