Our sun is fat, although it is only at the beginning of its life cycle; it's soon to get very fat indeed, red, too.
Oh, your son, okay! If he is under the age of 18, do not put him on a diet. Children should not need to be on diets, unless a doctor says otherwise. It is unhealthy for a child to worry about their health. Exercise is in order, let him swim somewhere, that will shed those pounds! Do not feed him too many fast food dinners. Although it may sound like a diet, it isn't: gradually bring him off the fast food and generally unhealthy food. Get him to eat more healthy food, and plenty of it.
If he complains that he doesn't like it, make him try it. Just two weeks ago, I discovered that I adore canapés, even though I thought that I disliked them. Every so often, give him a 'treat' like a chocolate bar, or something that will make him think that the healthy eating is good. Just don't treat him every day, once or twice a month is good enough, maybe just a little more frequently.

So your "sun" is fat - and how is your "moon"? Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Seriously, if you son is fat how do you suppose he got this way? Children learn their eating habits from their parents (usually their mother). Was he brought up on a steady diet of fast foods? fattening foods? sugary treats? I suspect you too have a weight problem. Go to your family doctor and ask for some guidance or join Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, or a program through your local hospital together. If you make healthy eating (not so much weight lose) a family project you will all have an easier time being successful at not only his losing weight and becoming healthier, but you and the entire family. Also, join a gym together, go walking together, whatever it takes to get you both moving. Exercise is more fun done with someone else.

Good luck and healthy eating!

I like what mel416 said and I agree change his diet a little at a time and it is OK to still have his favorites once in a while just don't go over board and do things together that make him active and he might not even realize that you are tiring to change he and he will enjoy it and be4 you know it he will be slimmer and slimmer and health that will make you both happy!

And laughter is the best medicine maybe being fat makes him unhappy and he needs some fun in his life to feel good again and get out of depression and on to health plus stress causes fat and
a chemical that makes you store fat and makes hard to lose it again get him having fun and laughing and moving around and when you are having a good time less time to think about food and not eating CZ when you are dressed you only want to sit and eat...eat and sit!!! viscous circle!!!!!

Keep the percent of fat intake below 15% daily. Read labels on food, look at percent of fat in each and count. Eat 4-6 small meals a day, the body can metabolize food better in small amounts. Chicken, tuna, and whole foods like oatmeal is a good start. Increase fluid intake on water and juices, avoid pop/soda. Do some excercise at least 30 minutes each day, 4-5 times a week. He will drop the pounds. It is called thermagenics and it works.

errrrrrrrrrrr.......isnt there only one Sun.....and yes it is fat and round....and that Sun belongs to everyone in the world, not to u, now if your talking about ur SON, then I have to say that you have to cook his meals and not cook him anything fattening, keep him on a low fat diet all the time, cut his sweets down, dont take them off him complety as he will eat them behind ur back and u will be on a losing battle, and make sure he has plenty of excersise everyday, if u have a dog let him take the dog for a long walk everyday etc.. Also a little trick, works for every one, make him drink a litre of water b4 every meal, it will make him full quicker hence he will eat less, and lose the excess weight. good luck with him.

I think its the time of year in the UK. My sun is fatter at midday than any other time, although I am sure I read that its the same size, summer or winter. I dont think it grows and shrinks - i think it just gets cooler. And therefor smaller in mass. So in 50 million times - all will be well, your sun will be but a little tiny dot.

It depends on his age meaning that if he is a baby you shouldn't worry about it but if he is walking and eating at the table with you then you should introduce him to excercise(bicycle, sport, walking and you could even introduce him to some form of martial arts and don't worry it is not dangerous because i do it and i'm still here), stop feeding him junk food(pizza, mcdonalds, sweets, fizzy drinks) and don't worry because i am fat and i am doing these things and i am losing weight but the key thing is to measure his waste line not on a scale because he may be losing weight and gaining muscle but it will only show him as gaining
wieght

ok first of all to everyone we all make typing errors-grow-up this is a serious question.

first of all donot call him fat you can do real damage to him

if you have weight problems in your family that plays a part

you need to change his eating habits

keep all junk food out of the house

only heathly food stop doing fast food

and when he crys for more - and he has had enough "dont starve him or be negitive" tell him no and do something with him or give him fruit or veggs. if he doesnt want it he isnt really hunger

you have to spend more time with him and walk with him talk to him and dont put him down

I assume that your son is overweight. In which case, I think that you should make a point of only having healthy foods in your house and make certain that everyone in your family eats only those foods. No processed foods, just fruits, vegetables, lean meats & nuts/seeds & whole grains. Drink water. Register him in some classes like swimming or soccer and start taking a walk every day, maybe after dinner. Good luck. Just remember not to say anything negative to him regarding his weight and only offer positive encouragement.
