My husband has a medication that needs to be kept between 55 degrees F and 77 degrees F -- finicky stuff!! The refrigerator is too cold, obviously, and the house is too hot, especially in the summer, when we both are out working and keep the AC set higher to save money.

So, any suggestions for answers? This will be a life-long issue for him, probably, and we are also campers, so need to address that problem as well!

Thanks for your input.

Store it in a cool, dry place like your basement or a medicine cabinet or a dresser.

Find a cool dark place in your house like in the basement I guess.
I know that's inconvienent but you will only have to do it a for few months out of the year.
Maybe you could use a little cooler and at night freeze a small pack to throw in with it. Not enough to cover it just one in there to share the cool air.

Keep it near the floor but hidden away from pets. there is always a layer of cool air between 3" to 6" off the floor. a basement is even better. just put it in a clear plastic baggy.
