I do an excersice so that I can not do another rep with good form at about 15 reps, I will do about 3 sets of this. At this point my muscles are really tired, and most people will stop (The standard 3 sets)....Instead of stopping I just pump out as many reps on each weight, gradually decreasing the weight, so that by the end my muscle is worthless and can hardly do a good form rep on some rediculously low weight. It hurts but I think it is the best way to lift. I came up with it myself, I did not read or hear this technique. Do other people do this? Your thoughts?

This is actually a common technique that I too have done. It is funny too. I have done this for shoulder presses starting with the heaviest weight I can do, and then working downward in weight each rep. By the end I can not even press 2 pound weights over my head lol.

This is actually a common technique as far as I know as I have seen others at the gym do it and it was tought to me as well.

Well, I have been doing a lot of research on this, and if done properly the most efficient form of weight training actually is Static Contraction Training.

But it only works if you do it properly and the proper callibration at the start is ESSENTIAL!
