You can use the topical sprays that they sell in stores that eliminates pet odors, and they do the trick, but the only way I have completely eliminated the smell of cat urine in my house is by shampooing my carpet.

I haven't heard of anything that can completely remove cat urine. Especially if its a male cat who sprays!

My dad is a painting contrator and he has had quite a few calls about removing "spray" from the walls and carpet. He knows of nothing that actually works. And he has access to heavy industrial strength cleaners.

That's why he never let us have cats when we were growing up. We all had to wait 'til we had our own house. Don't blame him.
