A home cure for this is to rub Vick's Vapor Rub on the nails twice a day and at night. Folks say this really works. Also good for toenail fungus.

I had that fungus myself 3 years ago. I used Exoderil cream and Nizoral tablets, 3/day. I used this treatment for 1 year. It is necessary to a nail 4 months to grow. My problem was old, I had it for 15 years, and tried everything. Only this treatment helped me. My nails are beautiful now. Good luck.

To get rid of it for good, you need to go see a doctor and get a prescription for anti-fungal pills. You may need to take them for quite a long time to kill all the fungus living under the nails.
It works much better than any treatment you would apply topically.
