I'm sure that right after it says that the medication is for "ages two years and older", it continues to say "under 2 years consult a physician." Do just that.
Ringworm is a viral infection and easily treatable, ask the pediatrician for advice on treatment.

There is a cream called "Q-Naftate". It is for Athlete's Foot. (Athlete's Foot is a fungi and so is Ringworm, so this Athlete's Foot medication will cure the Ringworm.)
When you buy the cream, put it on your son two times a day and cover it up with a band-aide. The band-aide prevents the Ringworm from spreading to other parts of the body, but be careful to wash your hands before/after touching the Ringworm.
Good Luck, the Ringworm will clear up in a couple of weeks!

The age restrictions on things are often so a child does not play with the area and ingest it. You can treat it topically with an anti-fungal cream. If you must, even place a gauze bandage over the area. I would recommend using lamisil antifungal spray or cream.
At least a 1-2 % solution or cream. Do this for 10 - 14 days twice a day.

An antifungal medication is something you can use but you better check with a doctor to see if it's OK for a child that young. Also if you don't know how he got it you should try to find the source so it doesn't happen again.

I would immediately go to a dermatologist. I had ringworm when I was 15. The dermatologist said I probably got it from my cat.
She prescribed a cream medication the first time. The cream didn't work for me so she gave me pills. It worked. Everything cleared up.

When my children had ringworm I used the anti-fungal foot cream. I can't think of the name of it right now. It cleared it right up and we didn't have any problems with their age.

Contact a pediatrician on this one. If you haven't taken your baby to a doctor how do you know it is ring-worm? Don't do a self diagnosis with your infant. And also it is always best to be safe and make sure you know exactly what you're dealing with. Please consider making an appt with your pediatrician

I'd consult a doctor... if you have a regular doctor, surely you could contact his nurse and just ask for a recommendation or even your local pharmacist. Don't wait too long, those things really itch!

I think you can use the creams for foot fungus or yeast infections. Call a nurse line and see if it's ok, it should be, I would think, but I hate to think of that soft baby skin getting irritated.

This will sound crazy but it works. Put a potato peel on it for abuot 10 minutes a couple times and it will go away. I worked at a day camp and alot of the kids had it and that is how we got rid of it.
