for Jewish Muslims and all that reject the truth that he came to die in our place and give us amazing grace come into our heart and be our best friend-why not believe him- and Isaiah- chapters 52 vs 13-53 vs 12 in it it says -He will be despised and rejected and lay down his life to forgive our sins and be our blood atonement, as the anointed one (Messiah) as promised Isaiah stated "He will be exaulted, but first marred more than any man, and lay down his life an atonement for our sins.
its simple why not believe Him?
the Messiah said "Behold i stand at your heart and knock, if u let me in i will come in deliver from sins and become your friend."
As a true believer -i prayed-"I believe you, come into my heart forgive my sins and become my friend, amen"

Many reasons why people reject Jesus and his teachings...too hard to understand..not easy to love your neighbor when he makes your life miserable etc....peoples hearts are too stubborn and hardened that they do not want to accept..not ready to accept. Blessed are those like you who have not seen and yet believe... Read..Mt13:37-43...at the end of the day, those who pick up their crosses and walk the passion of the Lord will be saved! For those who are still procastinating, there is still time so don't hesitate any longer...today may be your last breath!

It amazes me sometimes when I think of "Why" questions about God or Jesus. The answers are just to big and to much. I honestly have found that to question a little is good, that is curiosity bursting through. But when you start on a question that you really can never get the correct answer for, here on Earth, that is when you can become confused and that leads to not trusting God.
You have to trust the prophecy. The prophecy said that Jesus would be rejected by his own people. That is why. God bless you.

All that matters is Love.

I don't think that he is rejected; many Jewish believe in him, they were the first Christians, they were the ones who spread the Gospel; and then many other people came to him. Thousand of Jewish people became christian. And the Bible say also, He came for his people but his people rejected him!
Jesus is open to anyone that wants him, no matter, religion, sex, race, country, status, etc. But he never obliged anyone to believe in him; when he felt he was not accepted, he went from that town, never try to convince no one by force....
In this days, they are many Jewish who are still converting and Muslim also.
Have a nice day!

We must give the Jews of Jesus' time the benefit of the doubt. We cannot say that they lived for the flesh, because we do not know that. But we do know that they were expecting an earthly king - one who would free them from Roman domination. So, Jesus did not look like what they were looking for. Also, they thought that Jesus was a blasphemer. He called himself Son of God. The idea of the Trinity is not something you can wrap you mind around. We are lucky that we have 2000 years of Apostolic Tradition to help us understand. If you lived a thousand years ago and were passionately monotheistic because of your pagan neighbors, it would be very difficult to accept Jesus as God. I'm don't think I would have believed him. And, I think it is presumptuous for anybody to say that they would have.

Why did Jewish people reject Jesus? Because that time, people were not really that good and faithful to God. They didnt see what Jesus done in many miracle ways, For Jesus was the SON OF GOD.

Most of the Jews reject Jesus,, until the end whenever the whole world comes against Israel to wipe them out from the face of the Earth. Then they will finally realize that Christ came to save them.

Jesus came to save us from our sins. And Jesus came to the Jewish people first, because He love the Jews. He love the Jews because they are the people whom God made a covenant with. Jews who rejected Him, are the lost people of God-sinners who turn away from Him. God, the Father sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to forgive sins and bring them back to God;s Kingdom. Non-Jews, however, are also invited and promised of this salvation . If we non-Jews believe in Him, we can also be saved. After He rose from the dead and before He went to heaven, He gave instructions to his disciples, telling, "Go and make disciples to all nations and baptise them in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit".
Remember, as a Jew, you are Jesus' first love. He loves you more when you let Him in, into your heart.

That's the wisest decision anyone could make. He did so much for us--more than we realize. I hope you will continue to develop a relationship with Jesus. No one ever told me that we could know Him, really KNOW Him personally. When I finally realized that it made all the difference in my world!
Incidentally, You wrote "my Jewish people". Are you saying you are Jewish?

People reject him because they live for the flesh, the feel goods. God makes you feel good inside and that is not enough for some people, they need that physical gratification. Life if hard and awful and is the closest thing to hell a Christian can compare to .

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

on the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). clearly this isn't about jesus.
