Follow your interests, and sign up for courses, classes, clubs, etc.
Then you will meet a lot of people with whom you might have something in common. Who knows what it might lead to?
At first, you need to keep your focus on forming friendships. This is very important!
Good luck!

Okay...first of all don't be worried about meeting someone - when the time is right, it'll happen.

Secondly, if you're newly separated, you need time to heal anyway. Don't be in a rush to start a new relationship when you're just getting out of one. Learn to be comfortable alone, it's not a bad thing. I was divorced for 4 years before I even considered going on more than 2 dates with a guy...

Good luck..

I felt like a total loser but I went on-line. Was extremely fortunate to have met my future wife there. We have been seeing each other for a little over 2.5 years now and are getting married next May. Best of luck to you in your search for someone special also. I used Findsomeone.com which was a free service at the time but I think there is a fee now.

What do you enjoy that might put you in touch with like-minded people?
Do you get invites from friends to go out for a drink & turn them down? Go!! You'd be surprised what can happen,.. but don't get drunk, you might say something you regret & give people a false impression of yourself!
Just relax, go with the flow & keep an open mind.. you never know what is around the corner!

My suggestion...let it happen naturally. Don't push the issue. If you are recently seperated give it some time to be single and explore your options. That doesnt give you permission to be a player either. Take it one day at a time and if its meant to be it'll be.
