First of all, I would like to congratulate you for the fact that you became
mother. And also a responsible mother--who is concerned about how to
better raise her child...
Because I suppose that you are too occupied with your baby and,
therefore, you are not willing to leave your home, I will give you the
addresses of six organisations who provide free "parenting" online
courses. Here they are:
1) www.parentingonline.org
2) www.docnmail.com/learnmore
/parenting.htm
3) www.our-kids.com
/parenting_classes.shtml
4) www.activeparenting.com
/markratta
5) www.learnthat.com/lifestyle
/category-17
6) http://sldregistration.ualberta.ca/listCourses.jsp
I wish you a pleasant learning!

BRAVO!!!! you are already a great parent....get advice...ask for help...tell everyone you know how they can help you 'learn the ropes.' parenting is NOT a natural process and our society has long since abandoned the great advice and wisdom elders offered and shared with new young parents today. continue being honest about your abilities...you can NEVER learn too much. Then, when you do learn the ins - outs - find classes - live through life lessons.....SHARE THESE with every new parent you know!!!!
We need more parents like you in the world...our kids would be so much better off!!!

Also try your local health department. Often they have both prenatal and parenting programs, or can direct you to some in your area.
