A long time ago in our family, John was in the Royal Flying Corps and was the first one to take reconnaisance photos of the Khyber Pass. Where can I find them?

I've spent a fruitless half hour searching. I doubt that you'll have any luck with a direct web search. There are Royal Air Force organisations like the RAF Historical Society which may be of help, but they seem primarily concerned with RAF history (1918 onwards) when you require information on the period prior to its formation (1912-18, I assume). I have included a link via which I would hope that you would be able to contact someone who may be in a position to help (perhaps the Imperial War Museum or the Royal Air Force museum).
Best of luck.

(If you know where he was stationed, it's possible that one of the Royal Air Force squadrons may be able to help, as they're generally very particular about preserving their historical records, and much of the RFC was amalgamated with the RAF in 1918)

There are WAY too many web pages to sift through for this information. I don't give the chances of finding to be good.
