when muslims fell down on their faces while praying, that's how you should pray to God. as Abraham the father of all the prophets, he did the same thing.

Genesis
17:3 And Abraham fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,

why don't you pray like Abraham?

Just because fictional characters exist in a story book doesn't neccessarily mean that I want to emulate them.

Moses prayed with his arms stretched up to heaven like many Christians do. There are many ways of praying. Stop taking single verses from the Bible and using them to try to support your own particular ways/beliefs/ rituals.

More important than any of this is that Jesus, God the Son, taught only that prayer must come from the heart.

Abraham is the common ancestor of Muslims and Jews.
I'm not either of these, so I don't pray like that.

Because 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to pray without ceasing. It would be really hard to get much of anything done if I spent all day with my head on the floor.

FYI muslims decended FROM Abraham. Ishmael to be more specific. so you know the rest. Ishmael's decendents became a rebel against God and hates Jews and Christians. and belive that they should have gotten the birthrigt instead of Isacc.

I have. Christians often do it. But it is not mandatory like in the muslim religion. We take the time to read more than one verse in the Bible and discover that it also list people as praying while they are standing, sitting, laying on their face, laying in bed, walking, running, and more.

I don't really think my God cares what position my body is in when I pray.

I pray at the car wash, while vacuuming the living room floor, or even walking around the grocery store on certain occasions.

It doesn't matter how you pray, only that you do.

Because according to my Christian faith, the Lord describes exactly how we should pray. Read the Gospels for more details. Not that bowing down with one's face on the ground in prayer is wrong, but rather just not necessary.

That doesn't make Muslims right.

If you study deeper you will see that Muslims came from Ishmael and Jews came from Issach. So they are both descendants of Abraham but only one is true.
