So, we shouldn't do things that are unnatural and/or perverse, right? What about peeing into a toilet? That is completely unnatural. How is it okay for Christians?

And what about personal hygiene? It completely goes against nature, so should it be banned?

The point here is that Christians try to say that homosexual sex is wrong because it is unnatural. But there are plenty of other things that we do that are very unnatural. I've noticed many people think peeing in a toilet is natural. Well, it sure is now, but nature had nothing to do with our own human invention for convenience and cleanliness.

One day, homosexual sex will be seen as completely natural, just like peeing in a toilet.

Oh, and the idea was that if we, as humans, have to create and use chemicals to do something (like personal hygiene), then it isn't natural.

We're not talking about civilized or sanitary here. Nature is not civilized and sanitary (though some of it can be, I'll give you that).

i always thought putting our wastes into a standing body of water was kinda weird... you know, maybe have a chute or something in the house that has a switch where you can wash it down into the sewer or something... anyway, it beats the old turkish toilet anyday.

What is so unnatural or perverse about using a toilet? Where would you rather leave your bodily wastes - in the middle of the street, as was done in the Dark Ages?
A certain level of personal hygiene enhances our lives. I agree that we shouldn't go overboard by splashing on the perfume by the liter, but taking a shower every day or so and regularly douching is good for you.

Now now sis, don't get your panties in a twist because someone insulted you. Honey, I've delt with ignorant people probably far longer.

No, of course it's not natural to pee in a toilet. It's also not natural to communicate via speach or any electronic device.

You can't go stabbing at windmills all your life. At some point you're going to have to just accept who you are and learn to live life just for the heck of it!

Peace

If you're alluding to homosexuality, then you're making a terribly bad analogy.

Peeing in a toilet, or engaging in proper personal hygiene, doesn't cut 30 years off your lifespan, like homosexual conduct does.

It doesn't increase your risk manyfold for diseases such as hepatitis, oral cancer, anal cancer, AIDS, HIV, HPV, and others.

And it doesn't make you many times more likely to commit suicide.

Homosexuality does do all these things, and more.

So, be careful what things you analogize. And don't go to desperate lengths to justify homosexual conduct, like you did by analogizing it with using toilets or personal hygiene -- you do no favors for your cause that way.

First, it is natural to pee. Second, it is natural for man to invent. Man, therefore, being a creature with bodily functions, was bound to come up with inventive ways to dispose of his waste. So peeing in toilets is perfectly 'natural'.

Now, as far as personal hygiene goes, cleanliness is next to Godliness...

We saw a guy in his man-dress, squat and take a crap on a street corner in downtown Fallujah... it didn't look that natural to me! How about the fact that it is more sanitary to pee/crap in a toilet than to take a dump on a street corner????????????? Do a little reading up on the plague that killed millions... the blame? Filth and rats!

Regardless of whether these things go against nature, they've been a part of our society for so long that it would next to impossible to stop doing them. If you want to prove me wrong, start peeing outside wherever and stop bathing- see how society treats you after that.
