You should have gotten a list from your school in the mail. Ask your mom or dad if they have it. Usually 6th grade requires pencils, notebooks, folders, maybe a pencil case, ruler, lunchbag, that is about all I can think of, it has been several years since i've been in 6th grade. (I'm now 30 so you can do the math lol) Good luck!!

They don't take anything like we used to take when we were in 6th grade.
If you go to walmart or kamrt you can grab a school supply list from the rack and get a look at what the different schools ask for.

1-inch notebooks (we had to have one for each class), dividers, paper, pencils, pens, red pens, those are the basics I think.
