So, there are no deeper feelings involved when two people of the same sex have sex? And no one else does things just for pleasure, right? Heterosexual couples who cannot conceive should not have sex? The only reason everyone else ever has sex is to reproduce?

Why do so many people think pleasure for the sake of pleasure is some kind of horrible thing?

Geeze, why don't they poke sticks in their eyes then, that must be the ultimate virtue.

I think it's because we are born with certain genitalia and it is made for reproduction. A mans body is basically designed to have sex with a woman and vice versa. Now I don't care either way what people do with there body. If it is really wrong like everyone says it is then they will have to deal with the consequences. I know that people say that sex is for the soul reason of reproduction but I disagree just a bit. True it is for reproduction however it does serve a different purpose. In marriage or in any serious relationship is serves as a form of intimacy. A way for two people to be joined as one, to kind of declare their love to each other. The Lord made or bodies and all the pleasurable things we feel when we have sex. I'm sure he isn't upset if we enjoy our self's

When people say that being gay is wrong because they cannot reproduce is very flawed. If you go by that logic, then:

Straight couples who can't have children are immoral
Straight couples who don't want to have children are immoral
Women who marry past the age of menopause are immoral
Couples who choose not to have sex at all for whatever reason are immoral

See? That reasoning doesn't work. Additionally.. the TYPE of sex that gay people have.. that doesn't make it wrong either because straight people also have anal sex and oral sex.

WHO are they hurting by being in love? No answers that I've ever seen to that question have been solid arguments. Leave out the Bible when answering that one.

Yeah I tend to agree too... why are so many religions so caught up on sex and its branches as being like a "SIN" of immeasurable boundaries... I believe an "Adulterer", A "fornicator". a "thief" and a "Liar" if they all stand before the great one.... won't they be judged the same?

I believe this whole pleasure is the "baddest" sin thing came from puritan types that needed to get some, but couldnt get any, so made sure everyone else wasnt gettin' any, and anyone who did GET some suffered publicly for it.

Now THATT is the ultimate of Selfish Evil
lol

Wow! OK, first of all, homosexuals don't just have sex because it feels good... they do it because they love each other. There are thousands of committed homosexual couples in the U.S. alone. Even though they aren't legally allowed to marry I've met many who's bond is so strong they put most married hetero couples to shame.

It's people like you who make unfounded claims that make bigotry possible, you should be ashamed of yourself. Do a little research or at least observation before you go around slandering entire groups of people.

I'm sure you have never and will never have sex for anything other than procreation... am i right?

The Bible doesn't teach that sex is only for reproduction; it's meant to be pleasurable, but it's also meant for a husband and his wife (Hebrews 13:4). Homosexuality is wrong because it's not that arrangement created and designed by God (Romans 1:26-27).

One of my best friends is gay and he has been together with his mate for longer than most married people can keep a marriage together.. they've been together 20 yrs. What two people do in the privacy of their home whether heterosexual or homosexual is none of anyone elses business.

I am a heterosexual married woman who is infertile and cannot conceive and I think it is ludicrous to think I cannot enjoy what the sexual drive most human beings have. Sex is not there merely for reproduction - reproduction for most people is a choice.

That is why Christians have allot of kids. Imagine if the bible said no sex but to make kids, and left out multiply and be fruitful. What if it said have one kid or burn. Membership would not be so high. I get pleasure from watching south park, or eating ice cream. It brings me happiness. Ice cream is bad, so I eat it for pleasure.

Sex is for married couples only. Sex was made to have babies and for pleasure of a married couple.

Personally, I don't think it's wrong to have sex (either hetero- or homosexual) solely for pleasure. Why would that be wrong? Sex is an invigorating and stimulating experience. Be careful, though; know your partner and protect yourself against STDs.
