I think I'm a nice guy. Why do women seem intimidated?

Well how do you present yourself??? Are you friendly and free with your smiles?? And when you talk to them do you talk about your work or the fun things in life that you like to do---Some women are put off or seem intimidated by men who seem to be bragging--about themselves and what they do or have--try shifting the conversation towards what they like to do---always be a gentleman show your are truly interested in the person you are talking to--do you have a loud and powerful voice?? I find that when I am speaking with a man that has this it puts me on the defense like they are big scary people--remember ladies (some) like gentlemen with great sense of humors and sensitivity not to be confused with wimpy ---so I would say take a good look at how you present your self and see what you think

They might view you as agressive or desperate. People that are intimidated by you see something about you that you dont' see. Search you soul and find out what it is even if you have to ask people. Others can see our flaws much easier than we can. Work hard on youself and you will be a better man for it.

If you are very outgoing that might be intimidating. It can help to try and get a feel for how the woman talks and respond similarly. If her voice is quiet make yours a little quieter. If she talks slowly and you talk fast - slow down a little. If you try to match your tone and even body language it can help put the other person at ease.

Women have every reason to be insecure with men. Most of us men are dogs. Bottom line. We know it. They know it. But they also are ever hopeful of finding a nice guy. So they keep looking.

To let them know you may be the nice guy they are looking for, simply learn to recognize and accommodate the feelings they have about these issues.

Trust is something that is hard won because the world is full of women that invested their trust in a man only to have it crushed in the end.

A guy successful with the female gender has learned how to give a woman the space she needs to grow in her trust as you get to know her and she gets to know you.

Any woman worth being with, is worth taking the time to let her know you for who you are. No matter how long it takes.

Just show and give them your respect and time and nature will do the rest.

Many women of today were cautioned as children about men, and that will take a lot of undoing. Just keep being a nice guy....that nice gal will come along.

it's not what you think,cause you can think your a king ,but are you.it is what you really are,and that sounds very egotistical to me.and women aren't intimidated by you,they are afraid of you.why don't you try going after someone a little more your own speed,like another guy.

In my opinion many women (african-american) never had anyone who treated them with some decency or respect. Most women (african-american) like the men who are thugs; therefore they don't know what to do with a man that works everyday legally.

By your pic, you look like a big guy. Big guys (be it tall, muscular, or just plain old fat) intimidate me because I'm a measly 5'4". I never went for guys over 6'.

because deep down inside, women are attracted to the bad boys. they always say they are looking for the nice guy but that's crap cuz they always keep the nice ones as friends.

A lot of women are insecure and feel you'll eventually dump her for someone younger, prettier, etc. You just have to keep telling her how much you care for her and no one else. You just need a strong, confident woman.
