I met this guy at a party. He is Tall, Funny, Nice Job, Nice Car, Nice Dresser!! But im 19 and he is 28. I dont see anything wrong with that but my mom said he is too experienced for me. Oh did I forget to mention Im a virgin!!! Also Im in school and I leave for Tuscaloosa in two weeks and I met him in Mobile (where im from)! But he said he would come see me(prob lying) anyway. Should I take the chance and try to pursue something more than a friendship with a guy that has way more expeirence in life as well as the bed or does mother know best??

you are fairly young and should concentrate on yourself right now. You will have enought time for man later. Man come and go. You still have to experience a lto of things, and as years pass your opinions will change, your emotions. I think you should just go to school and get your education straight. He might be looking for soemthing else. and he might expect to have sex w/ you, cause he's 28 years old! So if he wants to wait, then he can. but right now it don't seem like a good idea. Listen to your mom, she loves you and knows best.

You answered your own question with "But he said he would come see me(prob lying)"...You know the scoop already. Your mother is looking out for your own good. I'm 28 and I have to say, any dude who's 28 and looking at 19 year olds is a sad, sad dude, especially here in Mobile. There are a ton of 23-27 year olds that he could be dating instead of college freshmen, this guy is totally lame and you should be careful if you decide to give him a chance, or you will probably end up giving your virginity to a guy who is only looking to get that one thing from you before you experience life.

my answer is to listen to your mother, coming from me as a 26 year old, there are soo many mistakes ive made in life most of which could have been avoided had i atleast listened to when my mom was saying. im a mother now and i think that id like my daughter to listen to my advise too but i know i didnt listen and i regret it. take it as a friendship at first and if you dont feel comfortable with the way things are going then end it. most guys are more interested in corrupting the young anywas but who knows maybe it will be love. i am just saying to BE CAREFUL. as in if your going to hang out alone with this guy do it in public places unless you feel totally at ease with him. theres soo much ,ore i can say here lol but i doubt you will liusten anyways, most people folow their heart rather than their brains in that situation. your mother raised you hun shes just trying to look out for your best interest...

First off, I think you should trust your own feelings. Why not see if he does come visit you? Arrange to meet somewhere...not at your dorm or apartment, but at a restaurant.

See how it goes. If you hit it off w/each other, then so much the better.

He may not know you are a virgin, and if remaining one is important to you, you'll need to discuss that with him.

It's too early to say that "Mother knows best."

u are old enough to make that decision on ure own, but if u think he is worth it and u like him, just give him a chance, just take itslow, because u never know.(he might not be what he seems) and u dont want to make any mistakes.

Go for it. You will never know until you give it a try. If you don't, you may wonder and have regrets for a very long time.
