Chemistry. Hated it with a passion (and it killed my GPA). I got through it by studying long and hard, staying after the class to get the teacher to answer questions, and finally by getting him to tutor me during lunch hour. I managed to get a C+, which was admirable. But I had a 3.9 before taking Chemistry and ended up with a 3.8 because of it...took me from #2 in my class to #7. But I had the satisfaction of passing the class and not ever having to take it again.

My worst class was in college last year, I had to take a hard Algebra class with weird stuff that I had never seen before. I only passed because the professor let us take our tests home and use the book lol.

Calculus II. I screwed off too much in class, doodling when I should have been paying attention. I spent my study time drinking and doing shak-foo with my girlfriend off-campus. Had I done well in it the first time, I wouldn't have changed majors from Computer Science to Communications (absolutely revoltingly bad mistake - oh hindsight, bitter hindsight!) and would have done astonishingly better in life.
Anyway, I plan to survive Calc II this time (I have to retake it) by studying 90 minutes a day every day, re-reading my class notes before each class, and doing all of the homework, as well as studying for a week before each test (there's usually only two).
It can be done if you apply yourself. A friend from our church just finished her PhD, and she's written her own ticket. She's 27 and starting on a tenure-track (ie, they can't fire you) position teaching algebraic theory at a major Big East school.

My hardest class in high school years ago was Geometry. I passed one semester, but not the 2nd (in those days, you had different teachers for semesters).
The guy was a creep who liked to humiliate students who were having trouble.
He gave me an 'F' in red ink on my report card. I didn't take it over in summer school because I was scared of getting him again. I should have spoken w/my mom, but she was going through a stressful divorce w/my dad.
I never retook it and it affected my chances of getting into a 4-yr. college because my SAT scores weren't high enough.
A lifelong regret, but I am doing fine now. Just a lesson learned.
