Great question!
I lean towards the chocolate digestive though timing is everything - I think the element of risk which dunking fragile digestives entails (it's a nighmare getting 3rd degree burns to your fingers trying to frantically salvage sunken chunks) is what gives them the edge.
Sturdy Shortcakes are a bit too easy

the hob nob is the marine of the biscuit world, rich tea has no backbone in the words of peter kay. On a personal note, i wouldnt dunk a biscuit its vile, and why ruin a perfectly nice bourbon by making it all mushy?

I am the wrong one to ask.. I do not like any pastry(biscuit, etc) to dunk in tea.. It just does not taste the same as dunking a pastry, biscuit, etc into coffee... I suppose if I HAD to.. I would just choose a simple bagel to take with tea.

I vote for the digestive. As long as you take it out quickly before it crumbles and falls to the bottom of the cup.
