today is the ninth of Av on the Jewish calendar this is the very day that both the temples in Jerusalem were destroyed and as such it has been day of mourning for the last 2,000 years.

This year we have something else to remember. And that is our people that are living in Israel right now. Just as the book of Eichah (Lamentations), which is throughout the world on last night, speaks about the affliction of Judah and the desolation of Jerusalem. Now to the north of Israel has been afflicted and its cites are virtually desolate with the remaining population living in fear.

So I ask all of you in light of this situation if you are able please fast and pray if not for the destruction of the Temple but for our people in Israel that this may soon be over and that they may continue to live in peace.

And if it is not too much to ask if you may please learn some Torah on their behalf.

Thank you

Yesher Ko'ach! I fasted, and I hope you had an easy fast. Can't wait for Yom Kippur, lol.

Thanks for being a good person and I pray with you for Israel!

Not Jewish, but I have already been praying for the Jews. But I won't read the Torah, I read the Bible. You have the book of Isaiah, read chapters 7,9 and read Psalm 22. God Bless

So sweet! I like it when a Jew talks like this, noble of heart, and caring. And don't you blame the killing of kids on us. Lebanese children were seen aiming WMD at poor Israel. We had to defend ourselves against the brutal youth next door. Makes me sick, these yellow bastards. But, don't worry, children of the world, their hour is coming.

Everyone, not just Jewish people, have the right to live in peace.

Currently, that's not what's happening.
