My friend and I are 17. I am a guy and she is a girl. She has been getting calls on her cell phone that are very dirty and obscene. They are repetitive and I need to know what to do.

You should know that Christ will help you in this time of need. He is a true friend. That if you ask anything in his name (Jesus) that it shall be given to you by his Father in Heaven. So talk to him. He has the power to stop it and put her enemies far away from her. And they will suffer shame for bothering her.

God does this because he loves you and just wants to protect you.

Become a Red Sox fan.

Kidding. She should file a police report and get in touch with the cell phone company to trace the calls.

First of all, it needs to reported to the police. They can trace the calls and file a report and get this harassmant on record. It could be someone just messing with her but, there is also the chance of it being a stalker. This needs to be reported immediately. The police may suggest that she call her cell phone provider and have the number changed. Please take this seriously.

you need to contact your local court (magistrates) and sign a warrant for harassment communications. Make sure that you document the times and the number that you/she was called from. The court that you go to is dependent on where you are when the calls are received if it is on a cell phone this doesn't necessarily mean your home.

Call the local police for professional advice if you want justice. If not, just check a new phone number.

Block the idiot or document each call by what time this person called and what was said. Call their bluff by saying that I am logging and keeping track your calls and if you don't stop I am getting the cops involved. Also there is STAR 69 .... I dunno if that applies to cell phones.

Call the police. If they can't give you satisfaction, 28oz Easton + kneecaps = 1 whole new attitude.
