This would be one of the best slugfests ever.

Liston - W 50 (KO's 39) TF 54 - wins over Patterson, "Big Cat" Willians and Folley (all KO's) - KO'ed by Ali twice - 15th greatest puncher - 71st greastest fighter.

Foreman - W 76 (KO's 68) TF 81 - wins over Chuvalo, Frazier, Lyle and Norton (all KO's) - KO'ed by Ali - 9th greatest puncher - 25 greatest fighter

Ali destroyed both fighters and their myth of invincibility.

Both fighter get knocked down for record number of times. Foreman wins by a KO somewhere between 8 and 11 rounds.

What a tough fight! Liston had a very pulverizing jab and so did Foreman. Both were about equals in size and strength too and would tag each other with some really hard punches. I believe that George would knock out Sonny in 8 rounds in a brutal match.

Sonny Liston was a monster in his prime. Big George Foreman was 2 Sonny Listons in his prime. Do the math.
