I was told by a learned Muslim that they envoke Jinns in their homes to protect them, but must not put up pictures with eyes for fear of the Jinns using them to look through.
Most don't keep pet dogs around because they can see the Jinns and will react. Can anyone sanction this?

i am muslim. not sure about the eyes.
but Angels do not enter a house that has a picture/statue of an animal or human figure. or a Dog.
Jinns are different kind. there are this kind of jinnies who lives inside people home. and if this jinnies loves you he will help you. you don't see them, but they see you.
