There are five houses in five different colors. In each house lives a
person with a different nationality. These five owners drink a
certain drink, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of tobacco, or drink the same drink. The question is, who owns the fish?

Here's how I did it:
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The Norwegian lives next to the second house.
The second house therefore is blue.
The owner of the third house drinks milk.
The green house is to the left of the white house.
The owner of the green house drinks coffee.
The green house therefore is the fourth house.
The white house therefore is the fifth house.
The Brit lives in the red house.
The Brit therefore lives in the middle house.
The Norwegian's house therefore is yellow.
The owner of the yellow house (the Norwegian) smokes Dunhill.
The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The man who keeps horses therefore lives in the second house.
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.
The neighbor who drinks water must therefore be the Norwegian (in the first house).
The man who smokes Blends must therefore live in the second house.
The owner of the second house therefore cannot drink beer.
The owner of the fifth house must therefore drink beer (and smoke Blue Master).
The owner of the second house must therefore drink tea (and be the Dane).
The German must therefore live in the fourth house (and smoke Prince).
The Swede must therefore live in the fifth house (and keep dogs).
The Brit must therefore smoke Pall Mall (and keep birds).
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who keeps cats.
The Norwegian must therefore keep cats.
THE GERMAN MUST THEREFORE KEEP FISH.
