Okay, 300 pounds on anyone 6 feet or less is not Slightly overweight. That's quite a bit overweight. Walk the treadmill so you can be more healthy.

speaking as someone who is overweight...
300+ lbs is NOT slightly overweight, that is OVERweight.
i think a 6' tall man should be between 180-245lb, otherwise its just not healthy.
im 5'11'' and 245 lbs, and am working to lose the weight gained during my wife's 2 pregnancys in 1 1/2 years. lets just say i dont feel comfortable lying around the pool in just my swimtrunks

300 lbs. isn't "slightly overweight", and 220 lbs. isn't "thin"!
I like average, which I would consider between sizes 7 and 12 for a 5'5" woman (130-160 lbs.?).

Having been all the way up to 248 pounds, and then losing over 80 pounds of that, I can tell you that 90% of men ignore you once you get over 182 pounds at 5' 4". Once you get below that mark, it's much, much easier to get a date. You feel a lot better, too.

I think your numbers are a little off. 300lbs is not slightly overweight. It is obese. A 5'5 woman should be anywhere between 115-160. But as long as you are happy and healthy it really doesn't matter.

Your scale is messed up. A 5'5 girl should be no more than 130 lbs. End of discussion.

It doesn't matter what we think it's how you feel in your body, you have to be comfortable and healthy, men like curves women have curves for a reason, you do what you want to do,I'm from Australia and haven't got a clue what pounds are.but i think on a woman she has to be proportionate to her size, this is the same for a man.
