Yes, we never know when God will decide to send his Holy Spirit to someone. He is capable of anything. All are forgiveable.

Com'on dear ... what god are you talking of ???
If god created everything in the universe, so he created evil too ... If not, then evil is more powerful at anytime as there is no time in the history of universe that there was no suffering or no pain or no voilence ... In fact, these problems created gods and religions for these weaklings could not fight those eternal problems !!!
Why jesus of all??? who is very young in terms of Gods as we have lot of other religions and tribes who believe and believed in gods since ages before jesus ...???
It shows your meanness by saying accepting jesus and the so-called god's meanness to forgive those who accept him or your jesus. Why ??? Do these gods have "False Ego" or "False Pride" ??? Do they have to be accepted and praised all the time??? Do they expect gratitude??? Then why are we told the reverse??? If they cannot control anger, how can they be called gods and if ever, how can we Humans control our senses living amongst other beings and innumerous problems and tasks???
The concept of god itself is the biggest problem to the universe ... Kill gods and most of the problems will be solved ... like terrorism, wars, rioting and discrimination in the name of religions and gods ...!!!
God was created when the first fool started believing in that concept, where all the fools followed and god would die only with the last fool on earth dies ... I mean only when humans are extinct on earth ... and I know I am not going to see that great new world without gods or religions ... that demon will exist forever for humans ...

Yes, a lot of people realize their need for God when they think the end is near. It's just sad that they waste their entire life before they realize it. Some people say, well, I'll live my life the way I want and repent on my death bed, but I warn people against this. There is no assurance that any of his will have a "death bed." We may be instantly killed in a car accident or something like that.

It's very unlikely, but possible. If you refuse to accept the truth when you have the opportunity usually, the truth will be hidden from you. This is because God knows people's hearts, and when non-believers are really sick they may cry out, but as soon as they get better there back living like they had before.

God IS merciful only after one realizes God.
God is mercy for the one who has experienced him, within. There is no mercy for the one who is far from God.
Until one comes to God, whatever he may concieve Him to be or wherever he thinks he or she is, one does not even experience a drop of mercy.
What is the use of mercy one second and sheer cruelty on the other?
Look at the holy (???) land where there has been so much blood shed that even the earth has taken that color over the centuries, in the name of God.
Until one stops fighting in the name of God there can never be any mercy for him, regardless of which side one is.
Until one stops taking sides one will not experience the mercy of God

Take heart...GOD is NOT judging ANYONE but True Christians right now! Everyone will be given an opportunity for immortal life---in certain time order...GOD has a Master Plan for everyone! Your Bible says so! Quit believing in myths! CHRISTIANS are the ones who should be SERIOUS about their actions! GOD IS TESTING US RIGHT NOW to see if we are QUALIFIED to RULE with Christ over this Earth and the Universe! Never heard that before? WHY NOT? Your Bible is FULL of this! What of the BILLIONS who have died from Adam and Eve on down til NOW? The aborted babies? Communists? Are they lost because they never heard of GOD's Plan?--NONSENSE! May I refer you to Revelation concerning the rewards of the Saints and the 3 Ressurections from the dead? My best wishes to you.

Yes of course God is merciful. That is the whole point of the Christian religion (and most other religions for that matter). Everyone will have an opportunity to learn about the true gospel of Jesus Christ and have an opportunity to accept or reject it. Even you. :-)

On their deathbeds, sure. Absolutely. I'm sure there have been lots of people who have repented and accepted God at the last possible earthly moments.
I read that Constantine, the emperor who made Christianity the official religion of his empire, did not actually receive baptism until he was on his deathbed.

Yes, everyone has a chance. All they have to do is acknowledge their sins, ask God to come into their lives and forgive them, and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior. If they do that with sincerely (God knows our heart) then they will be saved.

why would anyone at the last moment change their religion?
why would their god be any more or less 'merciful' than the christian one?
do you really think that your god is the only god and every other belief is a joke?
i bet you're catholic.
