I usually use a double overhand knot for sinkers ONLY. The reason for this is if the sinker gets stuck it will break at the knot and I wont lose my whole rig.otherwise I use polamar and clinch for lures and hooks

Simple
make a loop in the line and make and verhand knot going through twice

then pull it tght so you have a loop

thread the loop through the eye of the sinker and arounf the other way

The Palomar breaks least often on me. I've caught a lot of big fish on it and it seems to be a popular knot with all the buddies I fish with too. Just make sure while your tying the knot you wet the line first! Hope I helped.

also try the palomar knot, it should be on the list the other person gave you. if not go to a sporting goods store where fishing line is sold. generally the mfrs will put paperwork in with the line which will show ways to tie different knots.

double clinch knot.pass the line though the hook or lure.twist the short part around the main line 5 times.aloop will form at the bottom.pass the short part through the loop.once you do that you will see another loop form on top.pass the short end through that loop.next pull the main line,it will all start to slid and eventually turn into a secure locked down knot.practice a few times .its all use

Palomar knot is my favorite, works on everything, yes it is tricky with treble hooks, but once you get the hang of it nothing beats it.....my opinion
