Please don't answer using religious texts and God's way of life...I am religious as well but, when people start off by saying God said blah blah blah...I feel that people are somewhat forcing me to accept their religion and since not all God/Gods are the same...please do not answer this way...it can be offensive. Thank you.

I think your right about religion and God.I think it's like chocolate cake,It's a good thing until someone is ramming it down your throat, and your chocking on it.Believe what you want, it's your life.As far as moveing in together, There are so many things that change. It seems there are so many small changes that you will Love, and some you will hate.I have had a live in girlfriend, I did not marry her.Not because we lived together, but because we were to young and immature. We thought we were ready.Instead it gave us insight as to what it would be like with someone there all the time.sounded great! goodluck

I think its a good idea to move in before marriage. This way you get to know if you are compatable without the commitment. Some people move intogether and know that they are not compatable.

Then again some people get married and it all goes down hill. Its just one of those things what is right for some and not for others, and it depends on how commited the couple are at making it work.

There's a difference in moving in before marriage and moving in "instead of" marriage. My guess is that most unmarried people who move in together never get married.
If a couple is bringing together a long-distance relationship - and in the final few weeks of getting the one who's moving into a new career situation, and finalizing plans for a wedding celebration - there's no problem.
But faux "trial marriages" without paper usually end in tears and often with extra little human souvenirs society used to call bastards.

Most people move in before marriage to get used to living with the other person. I personally don't think you need to move in before marriage because if it is the right type of relationship it should be not extremely hard to live with that person when you are married. Obvious bad points are getting to intimate and breaking up. If it is before marriage I would say after you really got to know the person.
