Because you can use the time to finish getting your education and then save money for a house. It gets you off to a good start, otherwise life is very tough.

It's not, because they are treating you like a child by letting you live there. Grow up and move out on your own.

because they can teach you about being successful and will cover you until you can be successful whereas if you moved out early, then you can't easily move up and be successful due to all the struggles that you wll encounter on your own.
