Who knows... If they would not have fired those missles then this would not have happened. Just leave Isreal alone.

This one is simple to answer. Hezbollah new exactly how Israel would react to these kidnappings and they did. In effect, Israel played right into Hezbollah's hands. Probably, not something they are real proud of; being sucked-in by some dumb @ss arabs.
Hezbollah was all ready for the Israeli's with all their missiles in place, ready to destroy Israel, the problem they're having, Hezbollah that is, is the damn fools don't really know how to use these missiles with any accuracy. So, most of them are simply kickin up dirt, or moving around some real estate.
Hezbollah has had it's five minutes of glory, I predict, for them, that it's all downhill from here.

they were captured legally as they enter lebanese territory

who knows....but they obviously wanted a fight, they were ready for any action, and even started shooting missiles....and the Israelites did not kidnap any of there citizens as some would state.....Israel never went into Lebanon without Lebanons permission...and the Hezbollah came into Israel to kill and kidnap their soldiers...
