No sweetie, your time is just as important as hers. Stop being the giver in this relationship, because your so called friend needs to stop being irresponsible and grow up. She's too selfish and self-absorbed. It sounds like your the umbrella in the relationship; only used when the weather permits. Get out and see your own sunshine without her.

No I wouldn't--there may be a reason why...
*maybe she doesnt want to do the activity u have planned.
*talk to her and see what is going on! something may be happening behind close doors that she doesnt want to share with u!
*she might be putting her boyfriend or another friend before you!
*re-evaluate the friendship and see if she is really ur friend!

Definitely not, many times you teach people how they should treat you. If you keep putting up with it, she will keep treating you the same way, cancelling and wasting your time.

i have a friend just like that only we don't hang out, we just talk on the phone and every time I call her she has an excuse that she needs to get off the phone, so I stopped calling her and after a few days she calls me just to ask whats up..maybe if you stopped making plans with her she would call you and ask you to hang out..maybe

All the time? No. You're more important than that. Make plans elsewhere and tell her what your plans are like you're the one in control of yourself. I'll bet she'll want to go with you! If not...move on.

No i wouldn't. Try avoiding her calls for about a week. If she calls you after that time, you can try again if you really want to. Do not continue to put up with this crap.

my opinion is yes i would ask her one last time and if she stood me up i would confront her about it you wont ever know if she is a real friend or not until you ask and if she lies about it then you will know shes no friend or she has a funny definition of friendship

If you keep asking her to get together, it would make you the dumb one.
